There’s parking for the car and a place to keep skis, and the lift is about a five-minute walk away. The apartment was clean and spacious, with the heating turned up in the evening, so our ski gear was dry by morning. The owner was a very nice woman and explained everything as well as she could, even though we don’t speak Italian. We were there for seven nights, two adults and two children. Just remember this is a family apartment, not a five-star hotel, though there’s something to do if you want.

We booked through Booking.com because the price quoted when I called the number online was much higher than the advertised rate, even before adding sheets and towels. Those were €30 as a supposed favor, otherwise €60. Before booking, getting answers from the daughter-in-law who handles reservations with her mother-in-law was already difficult. She didn’t answer calls or messages, and I had to chase her three days before booking just to ask two questions. After we arrived, she picked up only after a couple of calls. Her mother-in-law was kind and gracious, showed us the apartment, and said she had made the beds for free. We thanked her and appreciated that. We have small children, and the house was cold, so I asked if the heating could come on at 5 pm instead of its usual 7 to 9 pm. She said yes, but it didn’t start at 5. It came on at 7, just as we were leaving for dinner. I messaged the daughter-in-law asking if it could stay on until 11 so we’d be warm when we got back. She didn’t reply, and when she returned at 10 pm the heating was off. She could at least have answered or sent a message. We sat in the house wearing our jackets. The kitchen was run-down, with other people’s leftovers in the cupboards, including an open packet of spaghetti. The bathroom door key didn’t work, so with two families we had to make up a code to show when the bathroom was occupied. When it was time to leave, we rang the bell at the mother-in-law’s home in the property to say goodbye and hand over the keys. She was home but nobody opened the door. I was shocked by their rudeness and how they handled things. I’ve never had other property owners treat us this way. I’ll never return and strongly advise against staying here. One more thing, nobody asked us for documents to pass on to the relevant people, as usually happens.

It was a fantastic weekend, like being at a best friend’s place. The apartment was lovely, spotless and great value for money. It had two bedrooms, a spacious kitchenette, a large living room and a roomy bathroom. The owners were kind and very courteous.

The one good thing was the location, close to the facilities. I stayed at Sabrina's house and found dust everywhere, dirty rooms and worn-out furniture. The television’s external decoder didn’t work, the bathroom window wouldn’t open, and the shower stall was so cramped that sitting properly on the toilet was impossible.
