Vegetarian dishes were part of the menu, and everything we tried tasted really good. At agriturismo Selene Rocchi, we could choose from a selection of primi and secondi. There aren’t clear opening hours, but it was open around 19:30. It felt very authentic, though probably not ideal if you don’t speak Italian.

I only came for dinner, so I can’t comment on the rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the regional traditional dishes were very good.

The view and setting were amazing, and so was the hospitality. I stopped for food while on the Italian Days food tour in Modena, and loved the meal and their own wine. I’d definitely consider staying for a few nights sometime.

The countryside and hill views were a lovely finish to the meal. Staff were so attentive, and one waitress cared for my mum like she was her own, making us feel like regulars. I came with the Italian Days tour and wasn’t sure what to expect, but it exceeded expectations. The pasta courses were delicious and showed off local specialties, especially the onion and tomato pasta, the best I’ve ever had. They also catered for food intolerances, bringing a huge platter of fresh grilled meats for the person with a gluten allergy. The secondi were just as tasty, with plenty of choice. My only issue was how much I ate!

After the Italian days amazing food tour in Modena, we stopped for lunch. The food and wine were exceptional, and the service was attentive. One of my favourite dining experiences.
