I was there on a business trip. It may be the only option, but I liked the hotel: the rooms were neat and clean, and the staff were friendly.

A nice place, though it could use some refurbishment.

Il Portico Camere e Caffè sits in the historic center of Savignano sul Rubicone, right by the main square, with restaurants, bars, and shops close enough to walk to. There’s free parking nearby, and the setting is peaceful despite being so central. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, and tastefully furnished. They have free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and flat-screen TVs, and some look out over the square. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. The staff are friendly and helpful, and breakfast is generous and delicious. There’s also a coffee bar open all day. It’s a welcoming place for a quiet, relaxing stay, whether you’re traveling alone, as a couple, or with family. The central location, comfortable rooms, and excellent breakfast make it a great choice when visiting Savignano sul Rubicone.

The owner was very friendly and kind, and the property was clean overall. My room, though, had quite a bit of dust, especially on the light fixtures and door frames. The sheets and towels were clean and included in the price, but the towels felt very hard and scratchy. There’s no elevator. I stayed here for the Rimini tourism fair. The property is in Savignano’s historic center and has no private parking. In the evening you can use the free spaces beside it, or park in a public lot about 100 meters away. On market day that lot feels very dangerous, with a car crash seeming almost inevitable. Breakfast was the main letdown. For a place called “Rooms and Coffee” above a busy bar, we expected fresh brioches or croissants, but the croissants we got were poor quality and the cold cuts weren’t fresh. The made-to-order hot drinks were excellent. It’s a good establishment at a reasonable price, though some things could use improvement.
