Lemon House

We spent four nights at the Lemon House, and it was a fabulous Bed & Breakfast. Christel and her warm, caring teen daughter Emma made us feel like family from the start. The English home is exceptional, spotless, and full of love. Our room was beautifully decorated, with a plush bed and luxurious linens. French doors opened onto a handsome rectangular turquoise pool. Breakfast was generous, beautifully presented, tasty, and made with high quality ingredients. Emma cooked delicious gourmet eggs, and the cappuccinos were great. Christel is a classy lady who speaks almost every language and notices every detail. She helped us plan our time in Savoca, shared an excellent list of nearby restaurants and beach clubs, and kindly booked all our reservations. Every place we went was top notch. Taormina is only about a 20-minute drive, making it easy to spend a day at a beach club or explore the city, then return for lovely dinners in the beautiful Sicilian villages. There was always secure, free parking on the street just outside the House. This was a very special stay that we’ll never forget. Thank you, Christel and Emma. An absolute recommendation!

Christel made the stay so memorable. She’s bubbly, friendly, and was a huge help planning day trips from the Lemon House and booking dinner tables at fantastic restaurants in Savoca. The breakfast was delicious, with all the lovely fruit and pastries you could want. Every part of the B&B was incredibly clean and beautiful. I’ve never stayed at a better bed and breakfast. The rooms were all beautifully decorated and each one felt unique. Ours had a lovely big window looking out over the front yard. Our four nights at the Lemon House were the final stop on a longer trip through Sicily, and without doubt this was the most wonderful accommodation we stayed in. The rooms are beautifully decorated, meticulously clean like the rest of the place, and have very comfortable beds. Christel gave us superb restaurant and trip suggestions, then took care of the reservations and bookings. Thanks to her, we had a memorable trip to Etna and some great dinners. Breakfast conversations with her were lovely, with the other guests as a bonus. It was the perfect base for a relaxing holiday with plenty of ways to explore Sicily. We definitely want to return. It sits in the peaceful Sicilian countryside, with a back garden and pool that make you want to stay put and never leave. We had an amazing stay and totally recommend it.
