4/10
The sunbeds shown outside the hotel cost 35 euro, so factor that into the room price. The terrace in the pictures was shared by all the rooms, which meant no privacy, and there was no Wi-Fi. The place didn’t look like the photos, perhaps because the nicer rooms were closed due to covid. The host seemed stressed and told us we didn’t have to stay, but we’d already prepaid, so he could laugh all the way.

The staff were friendly, and the public beach is nearby. Still, the place is far too expensive for what it offers: no sea view as expected and only basic equipment. I wouldn’t pay more than 50 euros for these rooms.

The room was roomy and quiet, and the stay was pleasant enough. Then again, everywhere was quiet during the off-season lockdown.

This feels like a real scam. You book Hotel Miramare, then end up 4kms away at Hotel Aquamarine in Albissola.
