The location was a real highlight, downtown near the dock and only minutes from the cruise ship dock. There are plenty of bars and restaurants around for a memorable evening, and the price was very good. The apartment itself is lovely and roomy, with a double bedroom and two single beds on the mezzanine. The bathroom is spacious and comes with complimentary toiletries, a hairdryer, and a washer-dryer. There’s also a comfortable sofa, TV, and kitchenette in the living room. Congratulations, highly recommended.

The Irish pub across from the “hotel” serves really tasty food, but our stay had a lot of problems. We’d booked a presidential suite with a double bed and two separate single beds for our son and daughter. Instead, there was a double bed and a sofa bed that was too narrow for two and had a thin mattress. The room itself was beautiful and very modern, but after one shower the bathroom flooded. The air conditioning kept blowing straight at our faces all night and couldn’t be turned off. Getting to the room meant climbing 74 steps. There is an elevator, but it was closed. There was no parking, just a paid lot where you had to feed cash into the meter every two hours. Breakfast wasn’t there either; it was a few hundred meters down the shopping street. Contact with the owner was strained and difficult, and no solution was offered.

At 157 euros a night for four, the price wasn’t bad. The apartment is on the first floor and has no elevator, so it isn’t suitable for people with disabilities. It’s in the center, a few meters from the port, with air conditioning, a kitchen, two bedrooms, and a nice living room. One bedroom is on the mezzanine, which can be awkward for tall people because of the crossbars you have to duck under. The bathroom has a washing machine, though it spoils the look a little.
