The location and view were better than we expected, even better than the website showed. Staff were helpful and nice, and our children loved having the pool. We were happy with the stay and could see ourselves returning. The rooms were clean, though not especially modern, which we had expected given the price. The hotel's "private" beach with sun loungers was very good. At the Lido, though, the food choices felt stingy and prices were high. We wanted simple lunch options, so we ate elsewhere. We also would've liked clearer information about the hotel's own restaurant, ideally with menus online. We didn't eat there because the menu was short and had nothing for our picky children.

We had a great time in Scalea, grazie! The hotel is charming and looks out over the beach. Staff were warm and welcoming, everything was clean and well kept, and the bed was very comfortable. We liked the private beach. My one suggestion is better quality coffee at breakfast.

The staff were friendly and helpful, but I wouldn't stay here again. We were there for 4nights, and the hotel felt nowhere near a 4* or even 3* rating. It's worn out and overgrown, with upkeep neglected and updating needed inside and out. Things are broken and left unfixed. The pool was closed because its pump was faulty. Breakfast was the same very standard spread every day, with little flavor, and the COFFEE was horrific, the worst!!! The bathroom tiles in our room had a lot of mould, and everything felt tired and not very clean, like the place had been stuck in the old times and was deteriorating. A leaf blower starting at 4:45am disrupted our sleep.

We especially appreciated the reception staff, who were so devoted to making our stay pleasant. The cleanliness and decor of our "superior room with a sea view" were commendable. The hotel is clean and tidy, literally a few meters from a beautiful pebble beach. Its decor is a little old-fashioned, and the food choices aren't at an enviable level. There's a small parking lot, so finding a space and parking can get a bit chaotic.

The hotel has its own section of the city beach, and it's really nice. The pool isn't anything special. The building is old-fashioned but maintained, though it needs serious renovation. Our room was spacious and clean, and breakfast was fine. Almost all the staff were very pleasant and friendly. Some signs on the way would help, since it isn't easy for first-time visitors to find the hotel.
