La Bruca Resort

All good.

The staff were so helpful, and cleanliness was impeccable. I also appreciated the renewable energy choices and air conditioning in the rooms. Breakfast was adequate for the quality, served with smiles and nothing was ever refused. There were a few small problems with the safe and hairdryer, and the shower felt a bit small. The resort seems to have been built with bigger hopes, but its location is enviable and the pool is excellent. I’d remove a few pieces of furniture from the rooms. I hope tourism in Calabria grows in both numbers and quality to match the hospitality and splendid sea this region offers.

The staff were very friendly and easy to talk to, just how I like it, and lunch and dinner were excellent, both the food and table service. The place has rustic furnishings, a big garden with a tennis court beside it, and plenty of parking for cars, trucks, and buses. Rooms are classically furnished and very clean. It’s in a very quiet area for anyone who likes to relax, though the city center isn’t far away.

We stopped for one night while passing through on our bikes. The welcome was wonderful, and we had an excellent dinner of typical Calabrian food. Such a charming place for a really peaceful rest. Thanks to the staff.
