The chicken was tender, the food was amazing, and the wine was nice. Service was quick and friendly, and there’s a big parking area. I wish they’d cleared our empty plates sooner after we finished. We’ll definitely come back, maybe during the day. I noticed the poolside looked interesting, and heard there are little artificial lakes and a picnic area.

We loved the restaurant food, and breakfast was good too. The rooms are spacious, the views are amazing, and the location is great. Service from the staff was excellent. Just be aware that a room above the dining area can get very loud when there’s a party. Highly recommended.

The pool is amazing, and the restaurant is worth a visit too. Staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the bed was awesome.

We spoke with reception and the manager because closing the pool and kitchen just because we were the only customers didn’t make sense to us. The reception ladies kindly made us tortelli and gave us desserts, which we appreciated. The manager came over and asked, “Christine Hong? The pool was closed because of the weather eh? I read the reviews ok?” It had poured the day before, but the day the pool was closed was sunny and hot. Reception had also said they didn’t call the lifeguard because “there were not enough customers in the hotel.” I’m grateful for the tortelli, so I’ve changed my rating to three stars, though the service still felt mediocre next to the amazing facilities. The estate, facilities, and pool are beautiful, but they didn’t provide what we expected. We booked specifically for the pool, which was meant to open at 10am but didn’t open until 3pm. They said there were too few people at the estate to open it as usual, which felt discriminatory. The kitchen was also closed, so there was no lunch, again because there were “too little people in the hotel.” The website said “We offer fishing,” but when we arrived they told us they had no fishing rods. That’s why I originally gave two stars. Otherwise, it would have been four or five.
