We slept really well in the spacious, clean room, with its good-sized bed and nicely equipped bathroom. Breakfast was generous and tasty, too. Alessandra made us feel at home and helped with all our questions, even arranging a place for us to eat. We’d gladly recommend staying here for an authentic experience in an old hilltop town near a beautiful lake.

Alessandra was a lovely host, and that huge breakfast spread was a real highlight. We stayed in a central spot with a pretty view across the hillside homes to the mountains. The renovated rooms were spacious and clean. We’d happily come back.

Scanno is such a beautiful town in Abruzzo, and La Dimora di d'annunzio was a great place for our mid-September stay. The B&B was spotless and decorated beautifully. Alessandra was very accommodating, especially with my wife’s gluten intolerance. She made sure there were plenty of gluten-free breakfast options, including homemade ricotta and wonderful proscutto. I got some yummy pastries, too.
