Hotel Tyrol

Board games around the bar made for a cozy atmosphere, and it was easy to put our phones away. We really enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to coming back. The rooms are very spacious. From the infinity pool and rooftop whirlpool, the views over Merano are breathtaking. There’s a panoramic sauna upstairs with a beautiful view, and the spa has a regular sauna and steam room too. The food was a highlight from the start. Breakfast was fresh, excellent, and plentiful. In the afternoon, we could have fresh rolls with cold cuts and a glass of wine on the terrace, pure holiday bliss. In the evening, it was nice to have a choice between the full menu and just aperitivo snacks, especially after a day out when we didn’t want a big meal. ☀️🍷🎲

The mountains turn golden in the evening sun while you sit back with an aperitif, a perfect moment. I always feel recharged and at peace here, with what might be the best view in the region from high above Merano’s rooftops. Compliments to the junior manager too. I’ll definitely return.

The free public transport ticket came in especially handy, and there are countless great hikes nearby. The spa is modern and inviting, while the rooftop whirlpool was our favorite place to relax after a day in the mountains. We stayed at Hotel Tyrol with breakfast and felt at home straight away. Our room was spotless, with a breathtaking view, and breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from. The whole team was friendly and helpful. We had such a good stay and will definitely come back! 🌞💛

The family-run atmosphere made us feel completely welcome, and the food was excellent. With a lovely pool, a spacious terrace to relax on, and a stunning panorama, this hotel has so much going for it. You can tell it’s run with care and attention to detail. Highly recommend!
