10/10
We stayed at hotel Ifinger in Scena for 10 days and were very satisfied. The view of the valley from our room was incredible, and the indoor pool is large, with a smaller outdoor pool and saunas as well. Our Doppelzimmer Relax was comfortable and thoughtfully laid out, with plenty of storage for clothes and shoes and a great bathroom. The food was OK, though it could have used a little more finesse. Overall, a very good stay.

The decor looks like it’s from the 80s, and the owners’ attitude does too. If you’re vegan or “different” in any other way, avoid this place. Your blood pressure will thank you, unless you enjoy patronizing hosts.

The mountain view is beautiful and the service was good. Dinners were fantastic, while breakfast was mediocre but OK.

We weren’t hotel guests, and they wouldn’t let us have a drink or something to eat on the terrace. That didn’t feel welcoming at all.

Brilliant cuisine, and a brilliant hotel.
