Breakfast was generous and delicious, and both lunch and dinner at the restaurant were tasty and high quality. We spent two nights here, finding the place clean, spacious, and beautiful. The owners welcomed us warmly and cheerfully, and the location is close to all the main attractions.

The owners were so friendly and helpful, and after hiking we loved unwinding in the jacuzzi and sauna. We spent four days at Alpen Chalet exploring the region. Our suite was fantastic, with a huge, cosy balcony overlooking the forests and mountains, plus a large bathroom. Dinner was excellent each night, and the wine list was impressive.

Michela, the owner and operator, was amazing at looking after us and was completely accommodating. The service and food were great, and the espresso drinks were top notch. Our room was spacious and well equipped, with comfortable bedding. The whole hotel was spotless, without a speck of dust. Amenities went well beyond what you’d expect from a small hotel, and having access to a washer and dryer was a nice touch. One of our most amazing stays.

Our group all agreed this was the best hotel of our week-long cycling trip. We stayed here on the final night, and the beautiful setting, excellent food, and fantastic beds made it a great end to the week. Thanks to Michela and the whole staff.
