Olimpic Hostel

We arrived for one night after a lovely hike to the cross at the Campione refuge. The shared kitchen is large and well equipped, with a microwave, fridge, kettle, and induction hob, so it works well for making simple lunches or dinners. There’s also a big shared living room with tables, sofas, armchairs, and a TV, a nice place to relax. The hotel was very clean and well organized. Reception isn’t staffed all the time, but you can reach the manager by phone. An elevator goes to all three floors, and the rooms have private bathrooms with towels, a hair dryer, wardrobe, and TV. They have agreements with local restaurants for discounted breakfast and dinner. For a 2-star hotel, it’s truly top-notch. Pets are welcome, and I wasn’t charged extra, which is rare these days. I’ll definitely be back.

The rooms were tastefully furnished, and the hospitality was excellent. I spent a weekend in a beautiful setting.

Schilpario itself is a special town, and everyone we met at the places and services we visited was kind and helpful. At the property, the manager and housekeeper were just as helpful and incredibly kind. We stayed this weekend, and our room was comfortable, spacious, and super clean. The location and price were excellent, and the off-site parking was great too. Everything was perfect.

Calling it a hostel doesn’t quite capture it. The place is new and clean, very close to the town center, and the room and bathroom were both spacious. There’s a convenient elevator to the upper floors, and parking in front of the building was available. The owner was kind and helpful. A great experience!
