The setting is what stays with you: Casale Galati sits high above a huge valley, with the sea visible in the distance on three sides. It feels like the picture of a lovely Italian country house, and there's even a dozen donkeys. Our comfortable one-bedroom apartment was in the middle and had a well-equipped kitchen. We could eat outside, and a large pool sits behind the house, surrounded by that heavenly view. Google Maps took us right to the door. The host was very friendly, spoke very good English, and gave us excellent suggestions for places to visit. Sciacca has a superbly situated centro historico, and the Valley of the Temples is an hour away.

A car is necessary to get here, but the mountain setting in Sicily is magical, with a pool and a beautiful view. Heaven for anyone looking for peace and beauty.

We only had three nights here, and leaving was hard. My partner and I fell in love with this peaceful spot surrounded by nature and beauty. It's above Sciacca, about a 10-minute drive away, among olive trees. The pool area looks out over a breathtaking valley, with a glimpse of the sea. Enrico is such a lovely, welcoming person. We would have happily stayed until the end of our holiday. We can't wait to return to this place of the heart.

Everything was so peaceful, surrounded by greenery. The outdoor space is beautiful and very well cared for, and inside is lovely and tidy too. Mr. Enrico was kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

The apartment was spacious, and the old furniture gave it a certain charm. It was tidy and clean, though a few cosmetic repairs would help. We spent 2.5 weeks there last summer. In the evenings, we enjoyed sitting on the terrace, having a barbecue, and taking in the quiet. The center is quite far away, which also means it feels peaceful. The landlord was very friendly. Definitely recommended.
