Casa Relax

Locanda Al Moro is right in the town center, in an old building that's been modernized fairly recently and now has a lift. It's up a flight of steps from Via Roma, so follow the directions they send. We were lucky to find free overnight parking about 100 meters away. The room was comfortable and a good size, and the friendly, helpful staff suggested Ristorante Hostaria del Vicolo, where we had a superb meal. We were there in quiet season in early April and had breakfast alone. It was generous, though not quite as good as at some other places we stayed, maybe 3.5 out of 5. For the location and price, it's hard to beat.

We paid in advance for two rooms for two nights, but left after the first night, once we'd had breakfast, which was very good. One room smelled so bad that we had to move. The odor was a strong, sweet chemical smell, unlike anything we've run into on our travels. Wifi barely worked. The shower drained so slowly that the next person had to stand in dirty, soapy water. We tried washing the smell out of our hair and getting out quickly so it wouldn't follow us. If heavy perfume, cheap cologne, and overpowering chemical smells bother you, this room will be a problem. It was just gross.

Really nice, helpful staff and thoughtful care. Breakfast was very good, and the room was clean. Five stars 😀 A special hello to the German lady at reception! 😀

Breakfast was generous and delicious, with especially good sweet choices, and the price was good. Our night at Locanda al Moro was lovely: the room was comfortable, spotless, well furnished, and had a nice bathroom. It wasn't very big, but it was quiet, with no noise from the other rooms or outside. The owner sent very clear instructions on WhatsApp and guided us by phone through self check-in. Since the B&B is in a pedestrian zone, parking is tricky if you arrive by car. We found a spot 500 meters away by luck, after circling the center three times. Recommended!
