Le Case Del Vivaio

We had a happy holiday here.

The pool was spotless, with a lovely view, and the garden was a peaceful place to sit and take in the hills. We stayed in the Angelika apartment, which had everything needed to cook, including the excellent organic vegetables and fruit we were welcome to pick from the gardens each day. The tomatoes were especially good! There were flowers, plants, and fruit all over the grounds, a real burst of greenery. Indoors, the shared room had books, music, a piano, local visitor information, and board games. Pascale and Salvatore were thoughtful, helpful, and never intrusive; they made our family feel at home. The place is also well situated for trips to Torre Salsa, Scala dei Turchi, Selinunte, the Valley of the Temples, Mazara del Vallo, Marsala, Trapani's salt pans, Erice, and other cultural and natural sights. It was a one-of-a-kind quiet retreat after city life or days exploring the island, and the price was excellent for what we got. Thanks so much, including for the yoga!

We came back for a second stay and loved it just as much. The valley views and quiet make it an ideal place to slow down, and the owners are wonderfully kind. The town is about 10 minutes away and the sea around 15, handy if you want a peaceful setting without being in the city center. Dogs are welcome and treated warmly, too. We’re grateful to the owners for having us, and I’d add five more stars if the rating allowed it.

The hosts were so charming, and the place was calm and had everything we needed. They made sure our stay with the children went smoothly. Thanks!
