We were stuck here as part of a tour, and I wouldn't choose this place. The buffet food was awful, the rooms felt dated, and the WiFi was unusable at times. Loud music blasted in the outdoor area at full volume until midnight. We had to eat at the high-end restaurant afterward to get a decent meal. If comfort, sleep, and good food matter to you, stay elsewhere.

The location is the one thing I can praise. The service, rooms, and food were all far below par, and the HVAC barely seemed to exist. On a warm day, expect a sleepless night. We could hear our neighbors opening every door and drawer through the thin walls, and our wing was above the bar, so the party music came straight into the room. We wanted to sleep and couldn't. If you usually find budget Marriott/Starwood or Hilton properties good value, you'll likely be disappointed here. We were drawn in by the four-star reviews, though I can't say for sure whether they were legitimate. Consider yourself warned.

That little train to the beautiful beach was the one bright spot for us, until it broke down and we had to walk back with our 3 yr old twins. The hotel itself felt stuck in the 80s and badly in need of a facelift. The rooms were okay, but the beds were hard and the floors were cold tile. All inclusive was a rip-off: the food was terrible, with mostly pasta and fish, so if you don't eat those, you're stuck. The only alcohol was cheap wine, and getting a drink meant walking across the lobby from the dining area to the bar. There were no pool towels. Staff at the buffet watched closely and corrected you if you did something they didn't like. Almost nobody at the hotel spoke English. I booked through Expedia without any booking issues.

The rooms are roomy and clean, and the place is okay. Just be aware of the bar's prepaid credit card setup: you have to buy one to get drinks, and although you can add money whenever you like, they won't refund whatever is left when you leave.
