Tenuta Carabollace

We spent some great moments at Ignazio’s place, and it felt like very good value for the price, especially compared with restaurant costs. The grounds are lovely, with flowers, fresh herbs, and olive trees around the rooms. Each has its own kitchen, plus there are three shared outdoor kitchens with BBQs. I cooked some nice meals with fresh fish from Sciacca fish market. The views from the swimming pool are stunning, and with parasols, table tennis, and a soccer table, you could easily stay there all day. Thanks to Ignazio and his family!

The gardens, little hidden passageways, pool, and grounds around the villa were lovely, and there are nice beaches nearby. You’ll need a car to make the most of the area, though the town has everything you need. Our accommodation was superb and suited us perfectly: clean, well equipped with blankets and pillows, and the efficient air-con was a blessing. The bed and bathroom were exceptional. The family were polite, welcoming, and so helpful. We also really appreciated finding basic provisions on arrival, including water, coffee, bread, cake, fruit, milk, and pasta. The dinner we shared was wonderful, and Ignazio’s mother gave an entertaining, educational cooking lesson. It was lovely to eat what we’d made, too. We had everything we needed for a relaxing week in the Sicilian sun, with comfortable beds and a clean, beautiful property and pool. There are great beaches just five minutes away, and Sciacca is a lovely town with plenty to do in the area. My family and I had a superb stay with Ignazio and his family in October 19. We’d recommend it 100% and are returning in October.

A magical place to unwind and enjoy nature. One of the best places I’ve stayed, with such welcoming owners and thoughtful details in every corner.
