We stayed at Lumia Case Vacanze for ten nights around the end of September and beginning of October with our two children, aged 9 and 13. The beach in front is a mix of sand and stones, but I found the place charming and very peaceful outside the summer season. The house had a well-equipped kitchen and a beautiful sea view over the palm trees. The internet was stable and worked very well. I'd recommend staying here.
The house was clean when we arrived, with fresh sheets folded and ready for us. The beach is right across the street, shallow, with very few waves. It's rocky on shore, but there's soft sand in the water. We had an excellent stay and would come again.
The apartment was clean and everything was fine, with a nice Italian style. The only thing we missed was wine glasses :) The location is convenient for Sciacca and has its own beach, but you'll need a car. Marie was very kind and ready to help.
This was our third visit, and we had another lovely vacation. Mrs Maria gave us all the information we needed about Sciacca. The apartment was clean and well equipped, and we appreciated the bottle of water she left for us. The weather was warm and sunny, and the sea was still warm enough to swim. The apartment was very clean, and the agency handling it was friendly and efficient. Case Vacanze Lumia has three buildings with four apartments each, near the beach. We were given a unit in the rear building behind the two in front, and its sea view was mostly blocked by a tiled roof. None of the photos I saw showed that view. Front apartments were available, so I don't understand why we got the back unit. Keep this in mind before booking.
