I had everything I needed in my apartment, including a kitchen and a large, beautifully furnished bedroom. There was even a little garden area, where the carob tree seemed to wrap around the house. Breakfast was generous enough to keep me going until dinner, and I'll remember the homegrown tomatoes with basil and the B&B's own olive oil. The B&B is in a peaceful rural spot between Scicli and Sampieri, a short drive from some of Sicily's best beaches and most beautiful baroque cities. It's lovingly furnished, and the host was one of the most welcoming people I've met, with lots of local knowledge and advice. Very highly recommended!

We'd love to return. Marco and Mariagrazia take such good care of the place and their guests, and Mariagrazia goes out of her way to make each stay comfortable and enjoyable. The setting is wonderfully quiet among carob, olive and almond trees in the Sicilian countryside, with birdsong as the main sound. Each unit has a bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom, small private yard and air conditioning. The grounds are spotless and carefully maintained, with a garden and swimming pool where it's lovely to sit outside or swim in summer. Breakfast includes fresh local produce, and Mariagrazia can cater for dietary restrictions if you let her know in advance. Although the B&B is remote, Scicli, Modica and Noto are reasonably accessible by car, and Sampieri beach is a short drive away. People who love animals will be especially happy here. Pets are allowed, and the cats and dogs on the property add to the homely feel. Thanks, Marco and Mariagrazia!

The photos give you a good idea of this fantastic house. It had everything we needed to cook, sleep and wash, including air conditioning. We loved the beautiful garden, where we could barbecue and unwind on loungers beneath the carob trees after swimming in the equally lovely pool. Breakfasts were excellent, and the owner and staff made us feel pampered from the start, taking care of every request. A brilliant experience, highly recommended. Everything was lovely, and I highly recommend the place. Maria Grazia is kind, thoughtful and always ready to help, and she really pampers her guests. It's peaceful by the pool, with only birds to listen to while you relax.
