We were walking from the station when we arrived at Casa Rosati, and Simonetta and Adelaide welcomed us with cold drinks. They were such lovely hosts, and the place felt like home. Since we were going to Scicli the next morning and it was nearby, Adelaide offered to have her mum drive us there. They also asked what we’d like for breakfast. We were there for one night as Montalbano fans, and really appreciated their warm Italian hospitality. Thank you, Simonetta and Adelaide 🥰 x

We had the kitchen to use, including a range cooker, espresso machine, and fridge. The beach and Spar are only a few minutes away on foot. Our room was spacious, with its own shower room, and we could relax in the indoor lounge or on the sunny balcony, which has shades if you need them. The owner and hostess was lovely, made whatever we asked for at breakfast each day, and speaks English pretty well. She picked us up from the coach stop, about a 20-minute drive away, took us back at the end, and even gave us a lift to the wedding we were attending. When we ran out of writing paper, she went straight out to get more. If we return to Sampieri, we’ll stay here again. Recommended.

Just a short walk from Sampieri’s beautiful beaches, this B&B is very convenient. The owner and her daughter greeted me warmly when I arrived and were both thoughtful and attentive. Breakfast was generous and nicely prepared. I’d highly recommend it if you’re looking to spend some time by the sea here.

The owner was friendly and helpful, and asked what we wanted for breakfast. There was a breakfast selection as well as juice, biscuits, and a small bottle of water. Each room has a hallway entrance to a shared kitchen with a kitchenette, freezer-fridge, and sink, plus a hall with a table and a balcony furnished with three small tables, each seating four. There are two parking spaces, one covered. The rooms share a hallway, and each has an en-suite bathroom with a comfortable shower and hairdryer. In the room there’s an LCD TV, coffee table, air conditioning, and either a double bed or a double with a single. It’s a good place for a weekend night near the sea.

Unexpected work commitments that I couldn’t avoid meant I had to cancel my summer reservation, so I wasn’t able to stay. Even so, the owners showed such immense kindness and extraordinary professionalism that I feel I have to mention it. I hope I can book with them for a vacation soon, and I’d recommend Casa Rosati to anyone reading this. I hope others get the pleasure of choosing places like this, with owners like them. Highly recommended in Sampieri.
