We were really disappointed. We paid for things that weren't there: the included water and coffee were missing, and the shared fridge was empty. We had bought our own water, and people staying there took it because no guest water had been stocked. The room was so cramped there was barely room to move between the bed and bathroom, let alone put our things anywhere. We also slept terribly. The neighboring rooms and doors were so close we could hear each other's breathing, and a drunk person was vomiting all night. We heard every spit and sound. Parking might work if you get lucky, but otherwise it's a very long walk to the room. 😞

We only needed a room for one night, so we called and a very kind gentleman told me a studio was available on Via Monterosa in Scicli. The employee who welcomed us was friendly and even let us check in a few hours early. It was a comfortable, welcoming room with an en-suite bathroom, TV, fridge and air conditioning. The location is easy to get to and just a short walk from the historic center. The price felt very good for what we got. I think we'll come back.

The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean, with air conditioning and a large fridge. I especially liked the outdoor terrace, though it looked different from the archived photos. The neighbors were incredibly kind, too. It's a great spot for staying in the village, just steps from Scicli's historic center.
