Dammuso Romantico

The host is fantastic, and I'm loving this place. It's a beautiful room with lovely views.

The property was clean and comfortable, and very close to the center of Scicli. The owners were courteous and professional, and gave us tips to help us make the most of our stay.

The room at Dammuso Romantico had a kitchen with an induction hob, air conditioning, and a Smart TV with services like Netflix. The bathroom had a whirlpool tub and the comforts we needed for a holiday. My only issue was the cockroaches. We were told they might appear and advised to keep the windows shut. We did that carefully, and even closed the drains again after using them, but we still found one every time we came back. We bought spray the night before going out and used it in both the kitchen and bathroom, without success. I know it isn't the owner's fault, but dealing with them felt disgusting and unpleasant, especially with the windows closed for a whole week. I hope they can find a solution. Apart from that, I have no complaints. I can only speak for my room, since I don't know what the others are like.

Giusy and Alessandro were lovely, welcoming, and always easy to reach. The house is far enough from the town's decent nightlife that you don't hear the noise, yet its location makes the center easy to explore. The nearest beaches are also straightforward to reach by car. It's a recently renovated little gem, fitted out with everything you need.
