La Rosa del Deserto

Breakfast was the biggest letdown. It wasn't served at the B&B; we got a €2.00 voucher for a nearby bakery instead. At eight in the morning, there were no croissants, and the baker eventually told other customers the flour delivery hadn't arrived. There was nothing sweet either, so we were given a sandwich with jam. We also had to pay the difference above the 2 euros per person, which felt absurd. The owners called us at least 10 times to ask when we'd arrive. We got there at 9:30 PM, and it felt like a rush because they had dinner plans. The B&B itself is average and fairly close to the sea, though nothing special. The owners seem new to the business and came across as disorganized and a bit careless. The room was okay, but I wouldn't recommend staying here or return myself.

There wasn't a single bit of cleaning during our week, so we had to do it ourselves. The bathroom was broken and dirty too, as the photo I attached shows. Inside, the furnishings aren't up to standard and the linens look old; they only get changed if you ask. Breakfast isn't included, and there's nowhere to prepare it yourself. The location is hard to describe, so far from both the sea and the city. One star is all I can give, since less isn't possible.

I paid the maid rather than the owners, so I can only give it 2 stars. We probably won't return. The place could be all right, and there's a kitchen guests are allowed to use. It's not too far from the sea if you have a car.

You can use the kitchen to make breakfast, but it's not included. That's why I'm leaving off the fifth star.
