Landolina Guest House

The room is in a recently renovated building, simple but comfortable and practical. Downstairs there's a spacious shared area overlooking the sea from above, with lots of cats in the garden. Concettina is very kind, friendly, and always ready to help. It's a peaceful B&B away from the road and town center, yet only a few kilometers from supermarkets and beaches. The location also works well for exploring southeastern Sicily. They offer a little homemade breakfast, including artisanal granita every day.

What made this place stay with me was the hospitality. Signora Concettina runs it beautifully, welcoming guests warmly and attentively without ever being intrusive. She's also an amazing cook. The best arancini/a I've ever had were here, with a French touch from the time she lived there. Traditional dishes are available too, if that's what you prefer. I'd try to stay for dinner. The location, cleanliness, facilities, breakfast, and value for money were all excellent. I've stayed at plenty of B&Bs, farmhouses, and hotels in Sicily, and this one stands out. We'll definitely come back. When the people make you feel at home as well as the place, you carry that holiday in your heart.

The family running the guesthouse prepared delicious traditional Sicilian meals, and gave us great advice for getting around the region. Donnalucata itself is gorgeous, with beautiful sandy beaches that we liked much more than the ones in the Etna region. My daughter and I spent five nights here and were made to feel very welcome. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully decorated, in a lovely renovated farmhouse surrounded by bougainvillea, caper bushes, and lemon trees. It's peaceful, yet close to Donnalucata and its shops. I highly recommend it!

The owners are kind and discreet, and the rooms have every comfort. The shared area feels like a real home. It's a great, relaxing place to stay overnight, just steps from Scicli and the sea, and a good base for visiting the province of Ragusa. Highly recommended.
