Le Signorine

We met Piero, one of the two managers, and he was especially helpful, friendly, and easygoing. The welcome was excellent, and the kitchen is roomy and handy, with all the appliances you need. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. Le signorine also makes a good base for the Baroque towns of southeastern Sicily and the area's beaches. Breakfast is included at the bar next door. Highly recommend it.

We enjoyed the hearty breakfast at the nearby café, which has plenty of room inside. Parking was possible outside the property or along the street. There’s a beach within easy walking distance, though we chose to drive around and see the nearby sights and nature reserves. Our room was quiet, clean, spacious, and air-conditioned, with a full bathroom and a large shower. Guests share a well-equipped kitchen and veranda.

The beach is fairly close, though it isn’t the nicest one around, so we drove each day to other beaches and nearby places to visit. The B&B provided beach umbrellas, and breakfast at the nearby café was plentiful and varied. Our room was new and comfortable, with air conditioning, a good shower, and a range of toiletries. The kitchen and veranda were well equipped, and parking was available right outside. I’d have rated it higher if the fridge weren’t shared and if the rooms were cleaned every day.

Piero was courteous and helpful, and the B&B was spotless and well looked after. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed, and there was a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely terrace. The sea is a short distance away. Breakfast meant taking a voucher to the nearby bar. We only stayed one night, so that was fine; we could also have made breakfast ourselves, since Piero kindly offered us coffee pods for the kitchen machine at no charge. Recommended.
