We spent two lovely weeks here, with plenty of room inside and a charmingly furnished house. The enormous pool was a highlight. Out back, there’s a great barbecue area and a big terrace by the garden where we usually ate and spent our evenings together. We also liked having drinks out front at sunset. There are lots of terraces around the huge outdoor space. Bring mosquito repellent for this area.

There’s plenty to do nearby if you feel like heading out, with lovely beaches, towns, and villages close by. The house itself has a huge, well-equipped living area, a fantastic garden, and very comfortable beds. It’s a little dated, but furnished with care, and we didn’t lack a thing. We were fine washing dishes by hand. Our teenage sons loved the pool table, and the pool is large, deep, and private. The host was so friendly and helpful, replying almost immediately whenever we messaged. There were quite a few mosquitoes during our April stay, though evening spray outside made it manageable.
