The waterfront location was great, but the hotel didn’t deliver what we booked. We reserved a “Prestige Seaview Room” directly with the hotel, then were assigned room 4, which isn’t a Seaview room. There was one small window tucked near the bed with a view of the beach, but that didn’t match what I’d expect from a seaview room here. Disappointing. We also weren’t told the restaurant was “closed for the season”. The room itself was OK, but the bathroom was completely dysfunctional. There was no separate shower, just a tub on a pedestal that felt dangerous to get in and out of. Using the overhead shower with no screen soaked the bathroom. This would have been a four-star review if they had delivered what was advertised.

We had a really relaxing stay at Zafran Hotel in Sicily. The rooms were comfortable, the modern design looked great, and everything was beautifully maintained. What made it especially nice was the staff’s hospitality. Everyone was friendly and professional, and happy to help with recommendations or anything we needed. Special thanks to Georgia (Romanian lady from the morning breakfast)!
