This renovated fisherman's cottage is lovely, but those ladder-like stairs, at roughly a 50-degree angle, aren't suitable for children or older people. Our daughter fell and hurt herself for the second time, so we left a day early.

We came as friends and found the place clean and kept in impeccable shape. The terraces look out over Scilla and the mountains around it. To get to the rooms, you go up stairs with colorful steps.

The house is lovely and welcoming, tucked among Scilla's atmospheric little lanes. I had one of the best holidays of my life here.

A lovely old-style house. Just remember to think ahead before heading out, or you'll be climbing a lot of stairs. I actually find that funny 😁

We were very happy with our stay. Just be aware that getting around means climbing steep, narrow stairs, so it's only for people comfortable with that.
