The menu posted outside advertised a fish-based aperitif for €17, but when we asked for one, they said it wasn't available and that the street menu was out of date. When I asked them to explain, they dismissed me without a word. I would've been happy with an alternative. They gave the impression they didn't need customers, or have any desire or passion for their work.

The warm welcome and attentive service made this a great place to stay. It's perched on the cliff above the sea in the heart of Chianalea, close to the beach and town center, with access by an elevator near the seafront. The room was spacious and clean, with a small but practical bathroom. I loved the nautical decor and the balcony's breathtaking sea view; the sound of the waves even lulled me to sleep. There's no parking nearby, but otherwise it's an ideal spot to experience the village's authentic charm. Highly recommend.

We could see the splendid view from bed, and chose to sleep with the windows and French doors open for the fresh air. The room was quiet, with special curtains to darken it if needed. It wasn't huge, but it was spotless and well equipped. The balcony overlooks the sea and has loungers and a little table for breakfast. The small bathroom has a comfortable shower and a skylight for ventilation. The price felt in line with what you get and the location. Plenty of good restaurants are within walking distance. Highly recommended.

Blue is the dominant color here. It's a perfect place to relax, and you can tell a lot of work went into it.
