That chocolate and red wine cake is the best I've ever had! This charming little place is run by a friendly local woman, while another woman makes all the food from scratch in the house next door. On our second visit we tried the lasagna and the potato, cheese, and ham dish, and both were excellent. There's a clothes shop right across the street too, and the owner is quite a character.

I wouldn't recommend coming here for the food. The potato and pancetta plate with cheese on top was supposed to be warm but arrived cold. The only thing that was okay was the tuna bruschette, though the tuna was from a can.

We sat in the alley for a quiet lunch, with cute cats all around. The woman serving us was friendly, the food was nice, and wine with snacks made for a lovely weekend break.

The wine bar downstairs is the cutest place on the whole street! The room was good for its price and location, though a few things need fixing or updating, including the showerhead holder and some outlets.

Local specialties give the restaurant a lot of character, and the staff were genuinely warm and welcoming. We tried a few other nearby places too, but this one felt much more authentic. I'd happily recommend it.
