Le Sirene Scilla

The location is the one real strength, and the waiters deserve plenty of praise, they’re wonderful people. The food was okay, but the owner was grumpy and far too rude. The rooms are old and haven’t been renovated, and the electrical outlets were burnt out. At the restaurant, the toilet was always dirty and lacked basic things like towels and soap. We didn’t get fresh towels every day. When we asked the cleaner to change the wet ones, since there was nowhere in the room to dry them, she said she only did what the owner told her. During our 10-day stay, we got clean towels just twice.

The sea views at the restaurant made meals and even coffee feel special, and the whole place had a calm, lovely atmosphere. We stayed for a few weeks, and Le Sirene started to feel like home. I’m already thinking about coming back. The staff were always friendly and attentive, and my clean, comfortable room had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel sits right by the serene blue water, which made the location feel like a little slice of paradise. If you want a peaceful escape with a lovely atmosphere, it’s a great choice.

We stayed October 14-18, 2024, and loved the relaxed feel and the service. The staff were friendly, and the owner went out of his way to help guests. The food was really good too. Our room was clean and minimal, and the beach right there had beautifully clear water. Get a sea view room if you want to catch the sunset.

I planned to stay at Hotel Sirene for a month and ended up making it my home for half a year. The people felt like family, and the owner looked after me so well that I never felt alone. The restaurant was like a living room, serving the best pasta, and the staff were so friendly. My room was clean and beautiful, with a view of the sea, right across from the beach. It was also a great place to work online, with the ocean in sight and company around whenever I needed it. I’d recommend it to anyone, especially if you work remotely.
