Room 6, the one with the external bathroom, was comfortable, clean, and roomy, and we’d only stopped for one night by chance. But the shower made things frustrating. It felt too cramped for me at 85 kg, especially with the folding doors taking up more space. The shower head wouldn’t stay where I put it, maybe because the holder was broken, and the stiff hose meant I had to shower with one hand or squeeze into a corner. I’m mentioning it to the owner in the hope they’ll fix it for future guests. Maybe I’m especially particular about showers, but this one really bothered me.

The breakfast room was inviting and had plenty to choose from, and there’s also a lounge with a TV, foosball table, sofa, and books. The hotel is modern and well-equipped. I was there for one night, had a great stay, and found it fairly close to L'Aquila.

We’ve been back to Grandangolo a couple of times because it feels like home. The rooms are modern, comfortable, and clean, and everyone is kind and ready to help. It’s well placed for getting to L'Aquila in 15 minutes or Rome in 1:30. A heartfelt thanks to Mirko. See you again! 😎 Highly recommended.

The owners were so friendly and ready to help with whatever guests needed, and the place was quiet and relaxing. We spent five nights here. The rooms were charming, clean, and had all the amenities, with free Wi-Fi. Breakfast was generous, and the location worked well for getting to L'Aquila's center and nearby attractions. Great value for money. Highly recommended!

We were made to feel at home, thanks to Mirco and his family, who’ve created such a welcoming place. I stayed two nights with my son, and the rooms were comfortable, modern, and very clean. They have Wi-Fi and a refrigerator, beds are made and towels changed daily, and breakfast is plentiful. It’s a handy base for L'Aquila, the Stiffe Caves, Amiternum archaeological site, and more. We’ll be back soon. Thanks for everything!
