Podere Montale Il Borgo

Podere Montale made our wedding feel like a dream. The hotel is beautiful, set in breathtaking surroundings, and the food was unforgettable. Latifa, the chef, deserves special thanks for dishes full of flavor and care. The staff went above and beyond, especially Pamela. Her warmth, attention to detail and genuine care made everything feel easy. There really aren’t enough words for the magic of the place, it was perfect for our day.

The wine, especially the Rosé, was the star for us, and the rooms and service were wonderful too. Every room had stunning views and enough privacy that our guests could enjoy a little holiday as part of the wedding. We spent three magical days at Podere Montale. It had everything we needed and more, and the staff were kind and accommodating all the way through. We started with a welcome barbecue at the winery, held the ceremony there too, then had the reception at the main house. On Saturday we had a pool party. We’re so grateful to everyone and can’t wait to return every year 🙌🏽

We especially loved the staff, who were friendly, attentive and helpful everywhere, from reception to breakfast at the restaurant and the winery. The wine tasting is well worth doing: the wines are excellent, and watching the sunset in that atmosphere was fantastic. This would also be a lovely, romantic place for a destination wedding in Tuscany. We rarely see somewhere so romantic. We stayed for a week, and this was easily the most beautiful agriturismo we’ve visited. The Val d'Orcia views are incredible, and the whole property feels romantic and picturesque. The apartments and decor are both cozy and lovely to look at.

We had such a lovely welcome from the team, who were kind and warm. The local food and wine are great, and don’t miss the olive oil, it’s so delicious! Our holiday at Podere Montale felt like a dream. The apartment had a breathtaking view over the Tuscan landscape, and the location was just right for switching off completely. We can only recommend it.
