My flight was delayed, so I reached Guesthouse L'Orchidea later than planned and found nobody there to check me in. I ended up paying a lot for a room at a nearby hotel that night. I had booked through Agoda, and nobody had told me check-in was only possible during certain hours or contacted me to ask when I would arrive. Now Guesthouse L'Orchidea is refusing to refund me, even though I couldn't stay there. I wouldn't recommend booking with them.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way to Milano. The coffee was pretty good for the price.

The room was filthy, unclean, and VERY COLD. We knew the bathroom was shared, and it wasn't in awful condition, but it was FROZEN and impossible to wash in. From the outside, there was no hotel sign. The reception was a bar, which we could only locate by its street number. Don't stay here, especially for more than a day. Honestly, don't go at all.

The shared bathroom was dirty, and the rooms felt cold, worn out, and neglected. I handed back the keys within five minutes of arriving. It's advertised as a “hotel,” but what you see outside is a bar sign, and the place looked shockingly filthy and uncared for. The photos give some idea of it.
