That wooden bridge near the forest gives this place a really distinctive setting. The owners clearly put a lot of care and energy into running the farm, and Natalie was especially attentive to us. The apartments were spotless and had everything we needed, and we felt genuinely welcome. We stayed August 17th to 24th. We’ve been visiting South Tyrol for years and often choose Gallorosso places because they’ve always been dependable. Thanks, Natalie, and congratulations on the care you put into your work.

We had a great week in the Bergblick apartment at Grossgasteigerhof Farm. The terrace looks across the whole valley to the mountains, and the setting is so quiet and surrounded by nature, even though Selva dei Molini is only a five-minute walk and Campo Tures, with more shops and services, is a ten-minute drive. The apartment matched the website photos and was spotless in every room. It’s comfortable, nicely furnished, and has all the essentials. The young owners were kind and quick to help. They can also arrange early morning milk, fresh bread, and other local products. There are walks you can start right at the house or a short drive away, both in the Selva dei Molini and Aurina valleys. For kids, there’s a slide, swing, and table football, which ours loved. By the end of the holiday, we were already wanting to come back soon.

The quiet evenings were the highlight for me, with no noise and no lights. A shame we had to leave! Grossgasteigerhof sits halfway up Valle dei Molini, making it easy to head down to the provincial road for Aurina Valley or drive up toward Lago di Neves and its hiking routes. Even rainy weather looked beautiful here. The young couple running the place were welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and gave us a fantastic week. The apartment was lovely and spotless, with plenty of comforts. It felt like staying in a cabin. Wild strawberries were right outside the door, and the children’s slide and swing were in great shape. There’s also table football for family games. Just two steps away, a little bridge lets you hear the water in the stream. Behind the house there’s a lovely grove, with all those classic nature sounds.

We were warmly received by attentive owners. The apartment was clean, nicely furnished, and had the equipment we needed. It’s peaceful, with woods on one side, but the house still gets plenty of sun. Kids have garden games, and it feels wonderfully free of traffic. You can ask for laundry service, fresh milk, bread, and eggs. We’ll definitely return.
