The spa was a real treat after a full day on the slopes, and our large room, with its balcony overlooking the runs, was a lovely place to return to. We could ski straight from the hotel door onto the piste and back again, right on the Sellaronda route. We chose half-board and were impressed by the quality of the meals. There was a different menu to choose from each night, and the waiting staff were attentive and professional. We’ve just come home from a week at Hotel Miravalle and would love to return as soon as we can. Thank you for such a great stay.

The one feature that really worked for me was the ski-in/ski-out access. The hotel sits directly on the slopes, which is very convenient. I chose it for its reputation and hoped for a relaxing stay in a typical mountain setting, but the high prices and 4-star rating set expectations the rest of the experience didn’t meet. The restaurant was disappointing: the appetizers arrived cold, the portions were small, and the wine list was surprisingly limited. Breakfast was probably the biggest letdown. Local cold cuts and homemade pastries were technically available, but everything felt industrial. The croissants and bread seemed frozen and reheated, the selection was limited, and the quality was mediocre. Espresso and cappuccino cost extra, and the American coffee was particularly poor. It felt more like a standard business hotel buffet than breakfast at a mountain resort. The spa also fell short. Its herbal teas were cold, and apples were the only food. They weren’t replenished after they ran out, even the next day. Small things like that made the place feel poorly managed. The building feels dated in many areas, and there’s a noticeable gap between the older rooms and the renovated ones. That contrast is hard to justify at this price. A bottle of water costs €4 and appears to contain tap water, but tap water in a carafe is refused. Even slippers cost extra. The shampoo and creams also don’t seem to meet environmentally sustainable standards, which surprised me at a hotel positioning itself as premium. Aside from the slopeside location, the hotel didn’t deliver the quality, service, or authenticity I’d expect from a 4-star mountain resort. It felt overpriced and well below expectations, simply not worth the cost. There are several hotels in the same area at similar prices that offer a much higher standard and a more authentic mountain experience.

The room was good, and the place and location are great. Our recent stay was generally okay, but some of the staff could use more customer service training. The ski room and gym are great. The gym lights, though, run on a timer that lasts only a few minutes, so you have to keep walking around or they switch off.

The spa was lovely, and our kids enjoyed it as much as we did. There’s also a beautiful new ski room with lockers, and you can step out the door straight onto your skis. We spent a week at Hotel Miravalle and had a lovely stay. The rooms were spacious and clean, with a perfect view of the slopes. Everyone was so friendly and sweet with our two little kids. We highly recommend the hotel, and thank you for having us!

We spent a wonderful week here in February. The hotel is in a great spot, just up the hill from the busy main road, so it’s quiet but still only a short walk to restaurants. The piste is right beside the hotel, and the newly renovated spa and ski lockers are comfortable. I’d only suggest keeping the spa open until 8 or 9 pm.
