Hotel Faro

The couple running the hotel made us feel at home, looking after us attentively while still respecting our privacy. They seemed to anticipate what we might need, and their helpful, discreet manner made up for anything that might have been missing. The location is lovely for a day at the sea, with both public and private beaches directly across from the hotel. It's above an ice cream shop, which is handy if you want to grab a quick bite.

Habib and Vivian have such kind hearts that you remember their warmth above everything else. The common areas are dated, though the rooms have been renovated, and the sea-view rooms are especially lovely. Nothing was lacking during our stay, prices were reasonable, and breakfast offered both sweet and savory choices. Thank you to the two owners for making our short visit feel so special. We'll be back to see them again, both as professionals and as friends.

The rooms are simple, but everything in them is new, from the furniture and windows to the bathroom. The hotel has recently been fully renovated. There's no safe or minibar, which wasn't a real issue for me, and breakfast was basic, with a choice of sweet and savory food. The staff were always ready to help. I especially want to mention "the boss," though I can't remember his name. He has a rare, old-fashioned kindness. Thanks for everything, and we'll come back as soon as we can to see you again.

What stood out most was how exceptionally kind and courteous the staff were. They made us feel cared for and truly welcome, and we're already looking forward to coming back. Our room was roomy and very clean, with linens changed often. The sea-view terrace was even bigger than the room, with chairs, a table, and a lounger. It was shaded in the afternoon and a comfortable place to enjoy an evening aperitif. The hotel is right on the seafront, so you only need to cross the road to reach the beach clubs and public beach areas.
