All good.
Top.
The food and the staff are what I'll remember most. I ate fish all week, and the first courses, mains, and desserts were delicious. There was even more available if you wanted another helping. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and mostly young locals who worked hard and kept smiling. Giulio, Lavinia, and Eleonora deserve a special mention. Chef Santini and his wife also came by now and then for a chat, and were incredibly kind. We left really happy, so I'm giving the hotel five stars. It's right by the sea and fairly close to the center, with hotel bikes to get there quickly. Parking is paid, though there are some free spaces on nearby streets. Our room was modernly furnished but felt cramped for four people. We saw larger rooms on the same floor assigned to three guests and couldn't understand why ours was so small. The establishment is lovely, though the owner can be a little reserved at first. Once we got along, we said goodbye with a friendly smile. We'll stay here again if we're back in Senigallia. Thank you!
We had everything we needed in our room, even though it wasn't very spacious. The only real drawback was the bidet: it was there, but too close to the wall to use. The hotel is near the beach in a quiet spot. Trains pass just a few meters away, but the well-made shutters cut down the noise. The owner manages the kitchen, where the food is simple and reliably delicious. The fried dishes were especially good, and everything was well prepared. The young waiters were attentive and always helpful. I'd gladly come back for a holiday.
Over our 10-day stay, the owners and staff kept smiling, stayed helpful, and organized things so well. We never heard a “no” or “not possible.” There was plenty of food, and Chef Santini made appearances too. The hotel has three stars, but the staff bring it to four-plus in human terms. The partner beach, “Bagni Irma,” is 150 meters away, about a 2-minute walk. I often find Adriatic Coast hotels stuck in the '60s or '80s, with only partial renovations, and this one had some of the same issues. The fixtures were dated, and the bathrooms were cramped and uncomfortable for basic needs. Still, the service and hospitality more than made up for that. Serving is an art, and this team are artists of catering and hospitality.
