The welcome felt truly grand, and the setting on Lake Monte Cotugno is enchanting. A splendid place. We’ll come back as soon as we can.
We paid €80 for one night in a double room with breakfast, including our 4-year-old child. The location by the Monte Cutugno dam is hard to beat, and the historic property has a lot of charm. Our room was very spacious, had a lake-facing window, air conditioning, and lovely antique furnishings. The private bathroom was a good size too. The staff were warm and friendly. Breakfast was a little limited, probably because our family were the only guests, but they were happy to make extra items, including savory dishes. There weren’t any gluten-free products, which was the one drawback. The owner said he’d be glad to look into that for the future. Recommended.
We felt at home the whole time, thanks to Alberto and his father, who were incredibly kind from the moment we arrived. The rooms look out over a spectacular lake view, and the property is surrounded by greenery, well away from city noise. It was just the place to reconnect with nature. Everything was perfect. Thanks for everything, and see you next time!
From our room we could see the lake on one side and the well-kept Arso yellow hill on the other. The setting is stunning. Alberto was attentive and kind, making sure we had everything we needed. I’d recommend staying here, and I’ll definitely return.
You’re right among nature here, staying in an impressive 18th-century manor house. What an extraordinary setting.
