The outside of silos guest house looks lovely, and parking is handy. Inside, though, hygiene was a real letdown. There was hair around the room, and I wasn't sure the sheets had been changed before we arrived. The towels looked heavily worn and no longer white, and the room smelled strongly of cigarettes. The owner blamed the woman staying downstairs, which left me feeling I had to sort it out with her myself. I hope the owners freshen up and wash the blankets too.

The host was warm, considerate, and easy to deal with. The location worked really well, near the airport and Bergamo's old town, with countryside nearby too. Milan is around 40 minutes away. A great stay.

The kitchen was the main problem for me. It was old and poorly kept, with no kettle, and even after I cleaned things before using them, the musty, worn dishcloth put me off. There isn't breakfast, though you can prepare tea or coffee if you bring your own. I'd eat out instead. If you're driving, the B&B is handy for the airport, shops, and about half an hour from Bergamo. Parking is on the street out front, since the spaces on the premises aren't for guests. The rooms are plain but have what you need for a few days. They're clean, though the old furniture and bathroom have a few marks.

We felt very welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, roomy, and the place itself was lovely. Breakfast was really good too. I'd happily recommend it.
