Villa Tara has a lovely, distinctive space around the pool, poolside bar and restaurant, and orchard. We found it beautiful and relaxing, with tasty food, and it felt family-friendly while staying calm. The room was clean and tastefully decorated, with good air conditioning and a lovely sea-view balcony. The staff were warm, helpful, and knowledgeable. They even drove us to the nearest bus stop. It felt personal, like a boutique hotel with a taste of authentic Ischia culture. We loved our time there and wished we’d booked a full week. A scooter or small car is probably the easiest way to get around, since the access road is narrow. We’ll be back!

Restaurants and shops are within walking distance, and the quiet setting made this a lovely base for getting to know Succhivo, Sant Angelo, Panza, and Forio. The surroundings are beautiful, right in the middle of nature. Villa Tara itself is a historic building with plenty of character and charm. Our hostess was warm and courteous, and the whole team was friendly and clearly committed to making our stay great. And those sinful breakfast sweets! Thank you all, Anna&David.

The pool and bar area was fantastic, and the staff were so friendly. We had an amazing stay at villa Tara. The historic building is beautiful too. Thanks for a wonderful visit, and hopefully see you soon!

We had a great week here in late May. The apartment was spacious, and having a heated pool helped us get through a few rainy days. It’s a great place for kids, with a pool, playground, and horses. Don’t skip dinner. You won’t find better Italian food!

We spent our time reading by the pool and enjoying the scenery, including the ocean views. The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and Maria was an incredible hostess at her lovely villa. For dinner, we recommend Osteria della mamma if you want to eat where the locals go. For something different, take a water taxi to Terme di Cavascura for a thermal experience, then spend the day at the beach. Afterward, Villa Tara is a wonderful place to get a good night’s sleep. We hope to return!
