The setting is beautiful, with lovely nature all around. Inside, the hotel feels like it's seen better days, but the retro atmosphere has its charm. The furnishings are older, though everything is clean and works.

I had a great stay at an excellent hotel. My one concern was seeing dogs allowed in the breakfast area by reception. I didn't find that very hygienic. Hotels should be a Petri dish for animal diseases.

For a short stay, this is a good choice. The service is friendly and the clean, comfortable rooms fit what you'd expect from a 3-star hotel, even though it isn't new. We had booked a lake-view room, but the windows were so dirty in the morning that they spoiled what should have been a romantic view. The shower ventilation was surprisingly loud too. Those were small drawbacks in an otherwise pleasant stay.

The room smelled moldy and musty, with peeling wall paint, dust, and hair. Much of the furniture was worn or broken, and the building badly needs renovation. Cleanliness and maintenance were well below what we expected, so the stay was very disappointing. If hygiene and comfort matter to you, don't book here.

The property is very run down, and both the rooms and the rest of the place are in poor condition. We had to switch rooms because the bathroom was covered in mold.
