Fantastic Garden

The garden and scenery are stunning, and the place has the feel of a beautiful vacation villa. The food reflected the Italian tradition and was delicious. Staff were kind and helped us find our way around the area. The rooms are over 800 years old, with original paintings, and the lobby rooms are cozy and elegant. There are horses and several Disney/animal attractions in the yard, plus an enormous pool and relaxing views. Breakfast was delicious, especially the filled croissants. I recommend adding chocolate pump to yours! Absolutely amazing place to stay.

The hotel grounds were beautiful, with a spacious private pool tucked behind bushes, lovely decorations, a pickle ball court, and two ponies during our stay. Staff were extremely nice and helpful. The receptionist showed us original artwork dating back 800 years, and when we wanted to tour around, staff explained the train and which stops to make. The food was impeccable: breakfast had a huge range of choices, and supper was fancy. Our waiter was so friendly and recommended the best. We tried the all you can eat steak and had a blast. I’d recommend this hotel if you want a real Italian vacation.

The garden is well maintained, and it was lovely to get some fresh air, smell the flowers, and enjoy the sunshine with a cup of coffee. The room was big enough and the bed was comfortable, though the floor was cold in the morning and it could use some rugs. There were lovely little gold pieces around the bathroom. The hotel is cute and old, but needs some renovation. I understand old buildings can be noisy, though some painting still needs finishing. One area closed off on level 2 had a cell like fenced in look that felt uncomfortable. Dinner was nice, but the bar staff could have been more on top of their service timing. A few of us were left waiting for beer, while another male staff member was busy next to the bar and didn’t ask if we needed anything. The ladies at the front desk were welcoming when we arrived, and another was friendly in the morning and asked if we’d slept well. Breakfast was good, with lots of cakes.

You can really enjoy the beauty, luxury, and charm of medieval life at this beautiful property in Firenze. Everyone on staff I spoke with was extremely kind and helpful, and reception is open 24 hours. There’s a pool and two adorable ponies, make sure you visit them. During my stay there was a Chinese wedding, which felt surreal. An amazing experience, thank you!
