Recently renovated and beautiful, with amazing views and a great team. There are trails and lovely nature all around, so it’s a great base for exploring the area.

After hiking at the Ninfa lake, we stopped in for a quick lunch. We had handmade tagliatelle with truffles, tagliatelle with ragù, and fried eggs with truffles. Everything was tasty and well prepared, and we left satisfied. The staff were very friendly, and the bill was reasonable: €35 for all that, a big bottle of water, a glass of red wine, and two coffees. We could bring our medium-sized dog inside too.

In summer, it’s a good spot for a sandwich while the DH lift closes for lunch. The food was good, service was friendly, and there’s outdoor seating. Bikers are welcome.

The refuge has a simple charm and feels really welcoming. It’s newly renovated, and the rooms are inviting. Breakfast includes lots of freshly baked cakes. The ski bus stop is just steps away, and it takes only 5 minutes to reach Passo del Lupo. The management are welcoming too. Definitely recommended if you want to ski without spending a fortune!
