Perfect.

The owners were kind and helpful, and I felt comfortable in this clean, pleasant apartment. It also has a beautiful view of the square and the sea.

I had a very negative experience with the owners. I asked for a free cancellation just five minutes after booking and heard nothing from them for 48 hours. When they finally replied, the answer was no. I knew Booking.com's cancellation rules, but since I requested cancellation right away, the apartment could immediately have been offered to other guests. I feel it was unfair to charge me the €189 penalty, the same as a guest who cancels at the last minute.

The apartment was beautiful, very clean, roomy, and extremely well equipped. The landlady was kind and helpful, and the location was perfect once we realized it was in Riva Trigoso, not right in Sestri Levante. We should have looked into that more carefully ourselves. Still, we had a very nice stay.
