Mario was very accommodating, and we ended up adding an extra night because we fell in love with Sestri Levante. Villa jolanda was exceptional and good value for money. Our beds were made every day, and the location was awesome, just a short stroll to the town centre and beach. We didn't use our car at all during the four days. The train station is an easy walk if you want to visit cinque Terre. I'd highly recommend staying here if you need a place in the area.

Parking was a real bonus at €10 per day, especially compared with the usual parking prices, and the stay felt like great value. The room had antique-style furnishings and was clean, with a bathroom that worked well. It’s just 100 meters from Baia del Silenzio. Mr. Mario was warm and always ready to help. Breakfast could have been better, though the woman making the hot drinks was very kind. I’d happily return and recommend it.

The owner was nice, and the central location is fantastic. On-site parking is paid, but convenient. The room was noisy because a locked connecting door led to the room next door. There was mold in the bathroom, and a hole in the wall opened onto a small window that couldn’t be reached and was always open. The room felt too damp, and the toilet and old toilet brush were dirty and covered in hair. Hygiene should be a basic standard, whatever the star rating. Better upkeep, especially on cleanliness, would make this place a gem.
