Seven Boutique Hotel

The sea view, quiet nights and big, comfortable beds made our stay especially nice. We stayed at this gorgeous boutique hotel, with lovely rooms designed with an artistic touch and everything well appointed. The bistro is quaint, and breakfast, which is included, was delicious and thoughtfully put together. Tiziana and Giorgio welcomed us warmly and went out of their way to make things feel just right. The bistro downstairs is full of plants, and there's a beautiful garden too. Breakfast was just right, with personal, friendly service. The hosts go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. We wanted somewhere by the water that didn't feel like one of those big, impersonal hotels, and this was a fantastic find. The rooms are well equipped, with large, VERY comfortable beds. It was surprisingly quiet at night, and even as a light sleeper I slept like a baby. We can't wait to come back. Our room was small but clean and comfortable, with A/C, a cozy bed, modern bathroom and window shades. Even with the street outside, it stayed quiet. There wasn't much traffic, and the road seemed to close to cars in the evening and at night. This lovely little hotel sits right by the beach. The owner was so nice and helpful, making sure we had a great stay. Breakfast was included, and we could order what we wanted. We had a light salad lunch with the best balsamico I've ever tasted, plus some extra cheese. Later, after the beach, we sat outside for a drink and were brought a whole plate of tasty snacks, including foccacia, cheese and tomatoes.

The black-and-white room was spacious and stylish, with a high ceiling, little fridge, great air conditioning and big windows for the ocean view and fresh air. It was perfect. The hotel is across a quiet street from the beach, so we could enjoy the view and take a short walk for a swim. The old town is only five minutes away on foot. We loved Sestri Levante, with the calm we needed after the crowds in Cinque Terre. Tiziana was wonderful, always checking that we were happy. The hostess and staff were so welcoming, and the service felt thoughtful throughout. I rarely find somewhere this hospitable, with such lovely rooms, a great location and gorgeous breakfast. The cafe and breakfast room staff warmly greeted us whenever we came or went, and offered coffee or bottled water at no charge. There were always two or three cakes available if we got hungry. Breakfast was excellent, especially the fresh fruit salad piled with blueberries and strawberries. With granola and yogurt, it was a great start to the day. There was also bacon or cold cuts, boiled eggs, toast and chunks of delicious parmesan. I miss the place already and will remember it fondly. Don't judge it by the unfinished website, they're busy making a terrific place to stay. Big thanks to Tiziana and staff.
