We had a great stay, thank you, Mauro! Villa Bardi is lovely, and the hosts are really nice. The breakfast is very good by Italian standards. There are a few restaurants and the beach just a short walk away, and the train station is nearby too, making it easy to visit other places in Liguria.
The setting is elevated, with a wonderful view from the hotel's restaurant terrace, where we also had a very tasty meal. The staff were great and made us feel very welcome. Villa Bardi is a simple but good 3-star hotel, clean and tidy, with a good breakfast. We'd happily stay again. Finding the driveway takes a bit of attention: you cross a small bridge that at first looks like a footbridge 😄. The way in is a little narrow, so make sure you know your vehicle's dimensions, but it can be done. Thanks for some great days at Villa Bardi!
Getting there by car is tricky. You'd need an old Fiat 500!
Really great people.
The homemade breakfast pastries were genuinely delicious. The owners are so friendly and kind, and the rooms are clean, welcoming, and well looked after, with that lived-in feel in the best way. The only little downside is the small road you have to take to get there, which isn't very convenient.
